Troy Rondinone: Labor History Lecture

Special event scheduled during the exhibit “New Haven’s Garment Workers: An Elm City Story,” Dr. Troy Rondinone, professor of labor history at Southern, discusses the challenges facing workers in the 21st century. What lessons can be learned from the garment workers’ story as workers confront globalization and its impact on their lives? Talk will be followed by discussion, and refreshments will be served. Those attending are encouraged to stay to view the exhibit.

Admission: Free

Location: Ethnic Heritage Center (wheelchair accessible)

Directions: 270 Fitch Street (across the parking lot from Schwartz Hall)
